Long ago, before the realms existed, the universe lay empty and desolate. The story of how life was created is as old as time itself. There existed three gods in the universe, Gaiaru, lord of lands and mountains, Isis, goddess of water and air, and Tykus, Lord of fire and life. The three met in conference spans ago, they spoke of godly things and life. Isis spoke of how dry and cold the universe was. Gaiaru spoke of how desolate and silent it was. Tyku spoke of how it was dark and lifeless. They began to quarrel over who was most suited to make life and reason in the universe. They each individually tried to create life, but their powers alone proved pointless. They each met and talked, now while their powers alone could not create and sustain, together their powers could. They talked and came to a agreement, they would combine their powers to create all aspects of life. Lands, air, seas, and life. Gaiaru formed lands, mountains, and the moon with the hide of his back. Isis made oceans and rivers with her gown, clouds and winds with her breath.Tykus made the sun and stars with his flaming body, and blew life into the lands by making a flaming core at its center. Isis and Tykus made the seasons and plants, Gaiaru made the canyons, valleys, and paths for the water to flow. With their powers combined, they created their children of the world, imbuing them with elements and powers, fur and scales, gills and flight. They were all made equal, eyes, souls, voices, hearts. They would all exist in harmony, or so they thought.
Their children too began to quarrel over who was superior, by endowing them with free wills, the gods could not interfere, but they would not allow them to destroy each other. They released their servant, the phoenix to the lands. However, it could not perform its duty if it did not know which side to protect. It remained in its egg form until its wielder would show it the way. Monsters fought for control over the egg, its wielder could rule the realms with its powers. Instead of resolving the hate, it only created more. Troubled by this, the gods sought to retrieve the egg, and destroy it for good. A war then erupted, one so massive all of life itself hung in the balance. While Gaiaru and Tykus wanted to kill the egg and all life with it, Isis insisted that the egg remain to perform its job. The other two gods did not agree, and so, the war erupted and the gods stepped in, all life itself depended on that one moment in time. Isis, who did not want anyone to perish, took hold of the egg and tried to flee with it. Now the laws of the gods was that they could not interfere, but they did, and they paid the ultimate price. They could no longer enter the planet in their god forms. It is said that the pheonix hatched in Isis arms, but a dark creature tried to take it from her, tainting the bird. As her last request she pleaded to the phoenix to restore order to the world. Its birthplace was in the center of good and evil, and so, the bird split into two, dividing the world into night and day...light and darkness.
